Terms and Conditions
1. Guests must have a guaranteed and valid confirmed booking made via www.wangzhotel.com.
2. If any guest finds a better rate online known as the "Competing Rate", he/she needs to submit the claim form available via https://www.wangzhotel.com/best-rate-guarantee within 24 hours of the booking confirmation made through the hotel brand website.
3. Claims must be completed with clear screenshots from the website of the Competing Rate with the same hotel name, room type and booking date before a claim procedure can commence. The screenshot must clearly show full details of the relevant rate and terms on a competing website and the date and time at which the relevant rate and terms were available as evidence. The screenshot must be from the last step of the booking engine from which the Competing Rate is also listed clearly (with or without tax). The claims should be submitted at least 72 hours before arrival date or check-in. Any claims without necessary documentation as specified above will be classified as invalid.
4. The above points 1 through 3 apply for any valid claims.
5. The Competing Rate found must meet the following conditions:
- Same room type
- Same period of stay
- Same advance purchase, prepayment and deposit requirements
- Same cancellation and amendment policies
- Exclude online travel agents (OTA Membership discount and loyalty programme rates)
- Exclude prevailing government taxes and service charge
- Exclude package inclusions such as transfers, breakfast and meals
6. The "competing rate" on the third party website must be publicly available, viewable and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification. WANGZ Hotel reserves the right to deny a claim if the availability of a Competing Rate cannot be verified at the time of processing the claim.
7. WANGZ Hotel will not process any claims where the "competing rate" is 5% less than the previously "confirmed rate". This is to compensate for any foreign exchange fluctuations which may have caused the difference in rates displayed or sold online.
8. Any cancellations or amendments on www.wangzhotel.com are subject to the booking Terms & Conditions and rate policy stipulated.
9. The Best Rate Guarantee offer to match the Competing Rate with an additional 15% discount is applicable only for the length of stay and room nights originally booked and excludes taxes, gratuities and any other charges that may be incurred during the guest's stay. Once confirmed, The Best Rate Guarantee reservation is non-refundable and non-cancellable. Upon confirmation, WANGZ Hotel will make amendments to the guest's booking and follow-up with an email to inform guest of the relevant changes within 3 working days.
10. Any booking confirmed further through the Best Rate Guarantee is absolute and cannot be amended or cancelled. No-shows and cancellations will be subject to full payment.
11. WANGZ Hotel reserves the right to validate and honour claims. In cases of dispute, the decision made by WANGZ Hotel is final without further notice.
12. WANGZ Hotel will not entertain any repeated claims made within a 3-month period.
13. The Terms & Conditions for the Best Rate Guarantee are subject to changes without prior notice from the Hotel Management.
14. The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply, but is not limited, to the following:
- Any private, packaged or promotional rates
- Unpublished or contracted/negotiated rates (e.g. corporate negotiated rates, group rates, meeting package rates, convention rates, citywide events rates).
- Rates or offers to members (in any form) through email marketing, membership programmes or marketing channels and affiliates.
- Membership discount or social media members' rates found or received
- Package, tour or bundle rates that include meals, transport and/or airfare, etc.
- Rates offered by opaque providers such as Hotwire.com or Priceline.com that do not provide the name or location of the hotel until after a reservation has been made
- Rates offered on last minute or late check-in portals or websites
- Special rewards programme rates, cash benefits and members' rates, mobile rates on all Online Travel Agents sites (e.g. Booking.com, Agoda.com, Expedia.com, Trivago.com, etc.)
- Last minute deals offered by the Hotel within 72 hours of arrival date, compliant with the first sub-point under point 14
